S'mores Brownies

Camping without S’mores is like a light bulb without electricity. It’s worthless.

S’mores, by the way, are melted marshmallows with thin slabs of chocolate toasted over a bonfire, sandwiched together by graham crackers.

Last weekend, I thought of this  piece-of-heaven-on-a-stick, and decided to experiment to come up with a new recipe. Well, if S’mores alone can give you bliss, how much more if it topped your favorite  fudgey brownie recipe?

IKR.

Okay. Let’s get started!

S’mores Brownies Recipe

Ingredients:

For Brownies

1/2 cup of Unsalted Butter, softened at room temperature

10 oz of Semisweet Chocolate, melted

1 cup of Granulated Sugar

1/4 tsp of salt

2 eggs

1 cup of all purpose flour

2-1/2 tbsp of Cocoa powder

1/2 tsp of Instant espresso powder or any instant coffee

For S’mores

1 pack white marshmallows

Graham crackers (crushed)

Chocolates

Procedure:

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

Prepare your baking pan. Preferably 8×8 or 9×13

In a saucepan, melt the semi-sweet chocolates and butter. Let it cool.

Using your standing mixer or whisk, incorporate all the dry ingredients together. Add the flour, cocoa, espresso/coffee powder, salt.

Then add the melted chocolates and egg.

Mix until everything is combined. Don’t overmix

SMORES BROWNIES

Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan

Bake them for about 30-40 mins

When brownies are done, add marshmallows, crushed Graham, and chocolates on top

Pop into the oven again and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown.
