Happy Saturday everyone! So, how have you been spending your weekend, so far?

For me, my weekends are ALWAYS reserved for family, friends, and for myself. I strictly enforced a “no work weekend” rule unless there’s a dire need to, which by the way, happens once or twice only in a year. Like everybody else, I also look forward to weekend in everyday; and just the plain thought of the 5-day work or school week is about to end, agitates me.

For me, weekends are special – no school and neither work! These precious days are the only days of the week where I can get full rest. I can sleep and get up late without worrying if I could beat the alarm clock set to wake me up the next morning. I don’t anxiously check my mail for work assignments, because I know, in the first place, there will be none. Thank God for a boss who understands and values the gravity of work break and family time.

What excites me about weekends is the challenge of making it more special at par with the regular days. Most of the time, I resort to trying out a new recipe or baking something grandiose or taking the girls out to a mall trip.

So, today’s recipe is bound to enliven one’s family weekend bonding and enhance your mundane spaghetti! Campbell’s Creme de Champignon is the holy grail of this dish.
