Baked Zucchini Chips

If it has always been a challenge for you to get your kids to eat veggies, well, we’re opening the same can of worms! Today, I’ll be sharing a recipe that can help a lot of mommas, like me, who steadfastly hope that one day, our picky eaters will eventually fall in love with vegetables.

Ham and Cheese and Jalapeno Pretzels

Pretzels remind me so much of my teen hood. When Auntie Anne’s opened its first store in Robinson’s Place Manila, it had been a usual routine for me after church to come by at this pretzel haven and grab myself freshly-baked soft pretzels come side by side with my favorite caramel dip.

Homemade Baguette

For the record, these yummy French breads stole a couple of my sleeping hours when I made it almost a week ago.  I had to start late because of a family gathering, but I was sooo excited and couldn’t wait until next morning comes, so I grabbed my ingredients from the fridge and started baking at 9pm […]

Oreo Bars

I decided to debut my new blog series today, plainly because I want to start this week with a kick! (Ooh, love how it rhymed!). Apart from recipes, I wanted to add something new on the blog so I came up with PINTERTASTE. The purpose is just to bring recipe Pinterest pins to life and roadtest if […]

Baked Chicken Adobo Crepe in Garlic Sauce and Cheese Recipe

Let me start off this post by giving my non-Filipino readers a little introduction about Adobo. Adobo is a popular Filipino way of cooking and a dish that involves meat, veggies, or seafoods marinated in soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, peppercorns, oregano, garlic, and salt or fish sauce.

Garlic Sauce

I accidentally discovered this fantastic recipe when I was making my Chicken Adobo Crepes. This soft and creamy garlic sauce is so affordable, easy to cook, and goes well with salad, chips, bread, steak, or roasted chicken.

S’mores Brownies

Camping without S’mores is like a light bulb without electricity. It’s worthless. S’mores, by the way, are melted marshmallows with thin slabs of chocolate toasted over a bonfire, sandwiched together by graham crackers.

Hasselback Potatoes

If there are people who fuel me to keep at exploring baking, they are my daughters! It excites them so much when they see me browsing recipes in the web. Aaaand they know very well that when I pinned a recipe on my Baking Pinterest board, given a day or two, there’s no way I’m not gonna […]

Baked Spaghetti with Cream de Champignons

Happy Saturday everyone! So, how have you been spending your weekend, so far? For me, my weekends are ALWAYS reserved for family, friends, and for myself. I strictly enforced a “no work weekend” rule unless there’s a dire need to, which by the way, happens once or twice only in a year. Like everybody else, I also look […]

Cinnamon Swirls

Now the baking saga continues… So here’s the first recipe that I tried with my new oven and the very first bread that I baked! This bread recipe is very simple and suits first-timers in bread baking. I would like to share some important points though at the end of this post.
